Every Way to Order

Walk-In / CounterAnyone stopping by without planning aheadAsk the cashier to scan your app or enter your phone number so the order still counts toward rewards
Curbside PickupAnyone who’d rather not leave the carOrder ahead in the app, then let staff know you’ve arrived
Drive-ThruA quick in-and-out orderNot every location has one — it depends on the individual store
Third-Party DeliveryGetting it delivered straight to your doorAvailable through DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub — these orders don’t earn Dave’s rewards points

How to Order Dave’s Hot Chicken in the App

  1. Download the Dave’s Hot Chicken app (iPhone or Android) and sign in, so your Frequent Fryer points are saved.
  2. Pick your store. The app shows nearby locations, directions and hours.
  3. Choose your items and set a spice level for each one, from No Spice to Reaper.
  4. Choose pickup, or delivery if your store offers it in the app.
  5. Pay and head to the store. You skip the line and earn 10 points for every dollar.

The app also saves your favorites and recent orders, and it has app-only offers and early access to new items.

Dave’s App vs Delivery Apps: Which Is Better?

Ordering in the Dave’s app or on the website is usually the better deal, since you earn Frequent Fryer points and can use app-only offers. DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub are handy when your store doesn’t deliver through the app, but those orders don’t earn Dave’s points, and delivery apps can add service and delivery fees on top of the menu price.

Ordering for a Group

For office lunches or parties, Hot Boxes are the easiest way to feed a crowd. Our catering guide covers Hot Box sizes, prices and how to order for 20+ people.

Tips for a Smoother Order

  • Order ahead during the lunch and dinner rush. Picking up an app order is much faster than waiting in line.
  • Set the spice level on every item. You can mix levels in one order, which helps when you’re ordering for others.
  • Add extra Dave’s Sauce at checkout if you like it. It goes fast.
  • Check your store’s hours before you go, especially on holidays. See our Locations page.
