Dave’s Hot Chicken Outside the U.S.: Every Country You Can Find It In
Dave’s Hot Chicken feels like a very American thing: Los Angeles roots, street-art walls and tenders that make you sweat. But the brand has been growing abroad for a few years now. If you’re traveling, moving, or just curious, here’s where you can get Dave’s outside the United States, when each market opened, and what’s different once you cross the border.
This is an independent guide and is not affiliated with Dave’s Hot Chicken. New stores open often, so check the official store locator before you make a special trip.
Quick List: Countries With Dave’s Hot Chicken
| Country | First opened | Main cities |

| United Arab Emirates | September 2022 | Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah |
| Qatar | November 2022 | Doha, Lusail |
| Saudi Arabia | July 2023 | Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Khobar |
| United Kingdom | December 2024 | London, Birmingham, Manchester and more |
| Ireland | June 2026 | Dublin |
That’s six countries outside the U.S. so far, with more signed. Most of these markets are run by large franchise partners that hold the rights for a whole region.
Canada
Canada was the first market Dave’s entered outside the U.S., after a 2020 deal with a Canadian franchise group. The first stores opened in Toronto in 2021, and Ontario is still where most of them are.
The official international page lists locations including several in Toronto (Parkdale, Midtown, Leslieville, Yonge and Dundas, and the PATH), plus Burlington, Kitchener, Pickering, Brampton, Barrie and London in Ontario. Out west, there are stores in Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Victoria and Abbotsford.
The menu is very close to the American one. Prices are in Canadian dollars and taxes are added at checkout.
United Kingdom
Dave’s arrived in the U.K. in December 2024 with a flagship on Shaftesbury Avenue in London’s West End. The U.K. stores are run by Azzurri Group, which also owns Zizzi and ASK Italian, under a deal to open 60 restaurants across the U.K. and Ireland.
Birmingham and Manchester followed in 2025, and by mid-2026 there were about a dozen U.K. locations. Interesting detail: before opening more stores, the U.K. team said it wasn’t sure whether to serve the Reaper level, after early tasters were left in tears. If you’re chasing the Reaper abroad, check the local menu first.
Ireland
Ireland is the newest market. The first Irish Dave’s opened in Dublin in June 2026, covered by the same U.K. and Ireland development deal. Expect more openings around Ireland as that rollout continues.
Middle East
In 2022, Dave’s signed a deal to open 31 restaurants across the Gulf, covering the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. So far, stores are open in the first three.
United Arab Emirates
Dubai was the first Middle East location, opening at The Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence in September 2022. The official list now also includes Dubai Mall, Motor City and Festival City, plus Abu Dhabi (Marina Mall, Yas Mall and Burj Bakhout Street) and Al Hamra Mall in Ras Al Khaimah.
Qatar
Doha followed in November 2022, at Villagio on Al Waab Street. There’s also a store at Place Vendome Mall in Lusail.
Saudi Arabia
Riyadh got its first Dave’s in July 2023, and the city now has several stores, including one at Roshn Front. Jeddah and Al Khobar have locations too.
Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman are part of the Gulf plan, but check local news before assuming a store is open.
Is the Menu Different Abroad?
The core is the same everywhere: tenders, sliders, bites, fries, mac and cheese, kale slaw and Dave’s Sauce, with heat you choose. Around the edges, things can change:
- Extra items. Some Middle East stores sell items you won’t see in the U.S., such as burgers, and have run special boxes during Ramadan.
- Spice levels. Not every country offers every level, especially Reaper.
- Prices. Everything is in local currency, and tourist areas are usually pricier.
- Halal. Restaurants in the Gulf follow local halal rules. For U.S. stores, see our allergens and halal guide.
- Deals and rewards. U.S. promotions and the rewards program may not work in other countries. Our deals page covers the U.S. offers.

What’s Next
The brand has sold rights to more than a thousand future restaurants across the U.S., Canada, Europe and the Middle East, and its 2025 sale to Roark Capital came with plans for more growth abroad. More U.K. and Irish cities are on the way, and the Gulf rollout is still underway. Want the background on that deal? Read who owns Dave’s Hot Chicken.
